I wanted to know what the readers think and the results that i got back are rather surprising. first i have to make several assumptions which might or might not be correct.
#1 : Voters have received a secondary level education at the very least
#2 : Voters are mentally capable of understanding the question
# 3 : All voters voted once
Somehow or other, only 3 people actually answered what i was pondering. It's actually a very interesting discovery to find that out of 12, only 3 people fulfilled the 3 assumptions i made.
Only 3 voters have received a secondary level education and above, are mentally capable of understanding the question and that they voted once each.
A combined 66% of people thought i was either sexist or was forced to vote. People so readily label others as a ' something-ist' because its just so easy to pigeon-hole characters. the question isn't a sexist question, its the reader's perception of the question that led to me being called a 'sexist'
If i am a sexist for asking the question. Then anyone who has asked the question " is he/she beautiful/handsome? " deserves the same label. I'm not too sure about this, but i'd take a bold guess to say that the world has suddenly added a few more sexist by then end of this sentence.
To be a purist, i would have to say that the feedback i got and answer to this question would be an unequivocal YES! ( 2-1 ) : A woman does look less attractive if she's attached.
Did i just insult my readers? :p
