Sunday was movie day for me despite having work waitng for me at the side of my desk ( yes..i have become a 'take-back-work-to-do-at-home' person )
Unknowingly it had become a day of movies with balloons... hmmm
Anyway, the 1st was....
I guess i must be the last few people who haven't watched yet Up yet....
Never found the time or kaki to go watch it with me so i ended up watching it alone, and what can i say... i was pleasantly surprised by how much the movie made me thing about flying far far away in a house floated on by balloons...
Somewhere far far away...with someone who enjoys the travel as much as you do...
Somewhere far far away.. away from tiny Taiping
I guess subconsciously we all have had the dream of just escaping on a wild adventure to some uncharted land to find new discoveries.... what? no? you must have had a sorry childhood ler :P
The 2nd movie was
This movie ar..... hmm.... some call it chick-flick, others called it 'naked truth' ...haha... however you view this movie... there's only one thing that i think of Gerrard..

is what we thought how the song was supposed to go until the singer mouthed the first stanza...
it clearly was not MLTR... hahaha
Once again i managed to catch a yumcha session with S,J and N after their (supposed) shopping spreeeeee at ikea. N must love KD.. haha cos got JCO :P
At 1st also duno where to go yumcha... so went drive around the area...
Went over to Station 1..or was it 1 station? anyway...it's not a bad place to go grab a drink.. S thinks it could have been abit cooler..but it was ok since it was a pretty cooling night anyways.
Their jiopai drink is no more than a shaken jasmine tea in my opinion but the honey milk tea was not bad at all... plain water costs rm1...ice water is 1.20... =((
They had a live band of 2; the guy was quite talented as he took much of the mic duties as well as the playing..the girl's vocals were good as well...just that she just sat by the side most of the time.. they had a good mix of english and mandrin songs...altho they only played our request much at the end of the show... haha...
It was a real great time for me because i relived some of the memorable stufff i did during my crazy uni days. Although we didn't chordee until headache but we played until the band also closeshop d.. haha.. thanks to J for her lenglui mooncake with some funny flavour...
So funny until i duno what the name was d...
Anyways watching and listening to the band on the stage, i felt like going on and lawak bodoh wit the instruments la.. unfortunately..... seems like we didn't have enough kaki lawak bodoh..... hahah.. me thinks if it was morning and coffee and half boil eggs were present, it would have been a far different story d...rite S? lol
An array of songs like Zombie and Dont Look Back in Anger to 天天 by DT and another mandrin song which is apparently J's theme song, help set the mood for a really relaxing evening in KD =)
But again back to my thoughts...i really miss playing guitar la.. jamming sessions =) any1 up for it?

After my last post, people thought i was so cham that they decided to come so far to Curve to kidnap me for (bday) dinner... haha
Thanks A,J,J,J,N,S.. i know you guys had to travel preeeety far to meet up. TGIF..
the 29.90 meal is so filling la.. add that with a bottomless drink and you've got a whole night of fun :P personally i think the staff is abit too gung-ho when celebrating a customer's bday la..
On the next table we saw a young boy celebrating ( or being forced to celebrate @.@) his bday...and all the staff were crowing around him, cheering, singing ultra loud..
He looked so so frightened .. haha... jialat... kena traumatized for life d
