Sufficient Grace

I have something to share and its rather unlike most of my usual posts.

Today i went to PBBC after a long absence (yes.. i don't think i went for any service in the first sem ) Although i have been more involved with their special occasions like the VBS & Christmas Celebrations but more on that later.

I already made my mind to offer X amount earlier in the week and when i took out my wallet there was just that X amount with a few extra rm1 notes left. Seriously i was running dry on funds and when the bag came around i was thinking like ' ok la.. empty oso empty la '. So i put the X amount in. " hmm later need go press $ d "

After church was lunch, which the kind people at PBBC treated the students to beef noodles and a drink. Just before that, a friend returned me some $ he owed me. Wow.. so good.. still can survive. Later when i got back.. another friend returned me another sum of money.

As most of you can figure out, yes, the total amount i got back from friends was exactly X.

But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.

2 Corinthians 12:9

Oh ya if you're wondering about VBS its a children's camp that i helped out in over my last sem break at PBBC. I don't have many pics of the event since well.. the camera man isn't done with post processing... yet... .... ...

1. I was helping out with the games station where i got to eng siu alot of the gina kia with games like musical chairs and whatever childish games :P
2. Kids will be excited with any activity that involves running around, jumping and generally anything that they get to scream.
3. Playing with kids just showed how much endless their energy reserve was.. fuuh.. time to face it man... i'm getting old =(
4. At this age, they're all still so innocent and the boys are shy of the girls. HAH!!!! One of the boys was sawing 'eeewww.. girl chase guys 1 ' Betcha he won't be feeling this way once the hormones kick in ;)
5. A few of my friends were predicting which of the girls will be a future leng lui.. and they chose ...... her
   

Anyway i had lots of fun being the PA man as well as running the games.. SL was supposed to translate the into mandarin as i introduced and explained the games. In the end she was so terrified i had to explain the games in mandarin too :P

We played musical chairs with them and there was 1 group and there was a little girl that didn't get a sit when the music stopped.. uh oh~~

She cried~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wasey... beh ho seh la like this... so quickly told them it was just a trial run... so we restarted the game~ heh heh heh

Manatau..the next round also she didn't get a seat...

She cried!!! again~

Boh huat liao... have to go find someone with sweets to make her stop crying.. worse thing was the brother was scolding her to stop crying :
" aiyo..tam puk tam puk pun hao "

But as all kids are, they are quick to cry and quick to forget. So after she got the sweet, it was time for the next group of kids... and she was ok again.. phew~



yea..thats the girl who cried..cute right?

*oh crap...does that sound too gam yue lou-ish? :P *
